Preparation | 1-2 teaspoons in 250mL water at 100°C, steep for 2-5 minutes. Can be steeped multiple times. Pu'erh is very forgiving when it comes to preparation. You can steep it for 30 seconds or 30 minutes, and it won't get too bitter or too strong, but rather the taste becomes lighter or heavier, maintaining a consistent depth and quality. |
Tasting Notes | Pu'erh can be sweet, bitter, floral, mellow, woody, astringent, sour, earthy, watery, or even tasteless. This unique combination of tastes develops as the tea steeps, and even without steeping, its taste changes as the tea ages, so, don't throw away your pu'erh if you didn't like it the first time. |
